When thinking of a name we went through a rigorous process. We ended up landing on Floridaman Technologies because, well, floridamen are crazy, just like the team. Also, Florida is just a really goofy and cool state. The Technologies part of the name is kind of obvious.

Behind Chad The Alligator

IInitially, we were not planning on having a mascot/character to represent our mission. But then we dug deep down, and came to the realization that people are more likely to stand behind a character than just a faceless mission.

With this in mind the team put together our 15 collective brain cells and came up with something so hilarious and crazy it just might work.

Chad The Alligator is meant to symbolize and represent a whole swath of society, and especially men, who have been put down, ostracized and seemingly abandoned. On top of all this, are the Big-Tech Companies, who have amassed trillions in market valuations profiting from addicting and stealing your time and data.
